The date for the event is Saturday, March 1, 2014.
Three cows will arrive promptly at 12 noon. Last minute tickets
will
still be on sale between 12 noon and 1 pm. The cows will be
released
into the roped off 60 yd x 50 yd area to start the fundraiser precisely
at 1 pm. Rain or shine! This event has taken as little as
35 minutes or as long
as 3
1/2 hours. So come on down and bring a comfortable chair.
All Band and Colorguard were given 10 tickets to sell. Any unsold
tickets have to be returned or you will be charged for them.
Students earn 50% or $2.50 per $5.00 ticket sold from the 11th ticket
sold.
Get your ticket(s) from any band member now and plan on being there on
the field to see the action! The field will be divided into
squares corresponding to each of the 3000 tickets. If one of the
cows does its business on your square you win! Prize awards are
1st Plop $200, 2nd Plop $350 and 3rd Plop $500. The students
selling the winning tickets also receive a prize: 1st Plop $50,
2nd Plop $75 and 3rd Plop $100. In addition, the
student that sells the most tickets gets $100, 2nd most $75 and 3rd
most $50. Each ticket costs $5.00 and we’re hoping that we’ll
sell all 3,000 Cow Chip Bingo tickets. You can buy tickets prior
to the event from any band member or at the event between the hours of
12 noon and 1:00 p.m.
